WPL 2023 , RCB Loses Fifth In a Row, DC Won By Six Wickets!!!

The Delhi Capitals handed Royal Challengers Bangalore their fifth loss of the season. Chasing 151, DC batted late, with a solid support from bat of Capsey, Jemimah and Kapp . Jess Jonassen was successful In the last moments hitting a six and a four off successive deliveries in the final over to lead her team to a thrilling six-wicket win .

Earlier, Ellyse Perry hit an unbeaten 67 and Richa Ghosh hit 37 to help RCB to a respectable 150/4 against DC on Monday. Shikha Pandey took three wickets for DC. DC captain Meg Lanning won the toss and chose to bowl first. Lanning stated that she wants her bowlers to use the surface and put pressure on the batters.  
Smriti Mandhana, the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, was hoping that the change of venue would result in a change of fortunes for her team as well. However, this was not to be. Royal Challengers Bangalore's debut in the inaugural Women's Premier League has been a nightmare. Despite several tweaks across departments, they have struggled to put together a complete performance.  
  
The top three teams will compete in two matches - the Eliminator and the Final - to determine the winner of the inaugural season in the WPL 2023 playoffs. The table topper advances directly to the final, while the second and third placed teams compete in the eliminator for a spot in the summit clash.
 

Scenario For The Playoff Qualification Of Each Team 

RCB:-  If RCB wins all three remaining league games and the UP Warriors lose all four remaining league games, and if Gujarat Giants loses all four remaining league games except the match against the UP Warriors. RCB will have an outside chance of qualifying based on the net run-rate of these three teams.

GG:-  1) If GG wins all four of its remaining league games and UP Warriorz win no more than two.
2) If GG wins three of its remaining league games and UP Warriorz win no more than one.
3) If GG wins two of its remaining league games and UP Warriorz win no more and RCB lose one.

UP Warriorz:- 1) If UP wins all the four of its remaining league games .
2) If UP wins 3 league games and GG loses at least 1 game.
3) If UP wins 2 league games and GG loses 2 league games and if loses only 1 league game it will depend on net run-rate.
4) If UP wins 1 league game and GG loses 3 league games and RCB loses at least 1 league game.


DC:-  1) If DC wins all the remaining 3 league games.
2) If DC wins 2 of its league games and UP loses at least 1 league game.
3) If DC wins 1 league game and UP and GG loses 2 and 1 league games respectively.

MI:- 1) If MI wins 3 league games.
2) If MI wins 2 of its league games and UP loses at least 1 league game.
3) If MI wins 1 league game and UP and GG loses 2 and 1 league games respectively.
