Captain Madhana Speaks About Her Team's Poor Batting Performance!!!

Smriti Mandhana, the captain of the RCB, said that the team's subpar batting performance contributed to their fourth straight defeat in the Women's Premier League on Friday. After deciding to bat first, RCB was knocked for just 138 runs, and UP Warriorz completed the chase with 42 balls remaining to win the game at the Brabourne Stadium by a margin of 10 wickets. The loss has negatively affected RCB's prospects of winning the championship.

"I believe it has occurred throughout the course of the last four games. We get off to a good start before losing several wickets. I'll also accept responsibility. We must get runs in the top of the order for the bowlers to defend "Mandhana said following the match.

"We spoke about it before this match that we will aim to take 7-8 runs per over but it did not work out tonight," Mandhana stated in reference to the strategy for the middle overs. We need to bat well and reach a high total as top-order batters in order to defend. We don't have any wounds. In order to win games, we want to have a balanced team. I've made an effort to encourage almost all of the players through speech, and I'll keep trying. Last week was challenging. There is much to consider and work on.

The vice-captain of India continued, "Many people have gotten in touch with me, and as professional cricketers, we have dealt with these issues in the past. Despite the fact that my family is always close by, I firmly think that you should sit by yourself so you can correct your errors."

Fantastic Healy Leading UP Warriorz To a Secure Victory

UP Warriorz earned their second victory in the Women's Premier League thanks to captain Alyssa Healy's outstanding unbroken batting performance of 96 runs off just 47 balls. This outstanding performance came after effective bowling performances from Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma, who often took wickets to keep RCB's score low. RCB were eventually bowled out despite Ellyse Perry's heroic performance of 52 runs off 39 balls.

With a promising win over RCB, UP Warriorz if stay in third place in the standings, will be eligible to play in the semifinals alongside the second-place club in the competition.
